By offering comprehensive on-site, and online programs, we create an engaging and encouraging environment where music education is accessible and affordable, to ALL, fostering a love for music in every student, everywhere. We seek to bring enriching and interactive music classes and experiences that serve the whole family within our faith-fueled local and global community.

We offer both, online and on-site lessons. No matter where you are in the world, we have created an interactive learning experience for aspiring students all ages 5+ in piano and voice (ages vary per class).
Classes in both, guitar and violin will be added in the Fall!
We host a variety of classes on-site during the summer months of June and July, which include private and group piano classes, teen worship and arts workshops, preschool music classes, and weekly summer camps for elementary aged students!
All of our classes can be booked directly through our student portal, here on our website. Classes can be booked and purchased via our Semester plans (Fall/Spring), or our monthly auto-pay option. We offer subscriptions for our self-paced course offerings and year-round classes for preschool and homeschool students. *All new and aspiring students are required to book an initial consultation class with us before completing official enrollment. Meet the Founder
Jantina Masters
We all have a unique story. Mine is simply that God placed the desire in my heart at an early age to teach. My passion for music and children was His stamp in my heart to build this online platform.
Mrs. Masters Music Class © was birthed out of the incredible gift of teaching my own children. Both, my husband and I are musicians with the gift of creating music. After serving as worship leaders and youth ministers in a variety of ministries, we began to dream of bringing the gift of music to children in schools and in communities together. In 2023, we were offered the opportunity to come into our first preschool and launch our first live music class. That was the beginning of us creating videos and content for children to learn through music.
Over 20 years of teaching in K-12 schools led to me creating lots of curriculum and materials that weren't available to me due to reduced budgets and zero funding in arts programs in the schools I served. I began to construct a library that could be shared with other teachers and homeschooling families who might search for those same resources.
My journey as a music educator started out in my high school years, with me going to student homes, and later welcoming them into mine for private piano and voice lessons. That was all before earning a degree in Vocal Performance from Fisk University in 2006, then marrying and starting a family of my own.
Today, my desire to teach my own children, while serving others has led to me giving birth to Young Musician Academy of Music & Arts. God told me in 2024 when I rebranded and relaunched this vision that it would offer much more than music, and it would be global!

My heart's desire is to also provide a safe space for children and youth to discover and develop their God given creative talents that does not compromise their innocence or oppose the biblical principles we have so carefully and intentionally woven into our purpose here at YMA.
How to Book Your First Lesson...
Booking classes/lessons with us is super simple! We made it that way on purpose because the sooner you enroll, the sooner you can experience what we have to offer! To get started, simply click on the button below, or click HERE.
We will connect with you, then help you complete our registration process. All new students must complete registration with us directly before scheduling classes. We take the time to get more information about new students and their families, your interest, experience level, and availability.
Once these steps are completed, we offer families the option of enrolling in a Fall/Spring semester plan, or our monthly auto-pay. We must set up initial billing for monthly paying families. After initial set-up, all families receive access to our student portal where families can create their student account. There you will be able to view schedules, billing, as well as access lesson materials and resources.
